Hydroxytyrosol

Hydroxytyrosol, a polyphenolic metabolite of oleuropein, is an extremely powerful antioxidant that is beneficial to health.

 

Hydroxytyrosol can be found in the olive leaves and fruit, and is found in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is water soluble and also found in some olive by-products.
